terremoto ha distrutto vite, famiglie, storia e bellezze artistiche di questo nostro piccolo grande paese.
Today for me it' wasn't just the day of Buckingham Palace Garden Party for Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Here in Italy it has been a very sad and terrible day: a severe earthquake destroyed lives, families, history and art of this our little big country.
Come molti altri italiani dell'Emilia quest'oggi è stato il terremoto a darmi il "buongiorno" e questa sera non potevo non rivolgere un pensiero e un abbraccio a chi non c'è più e a chi ha perso tanto a causa di questa disgrazia.
As many other italians of the Emilia Region today the erathquake gave me a sad "goodmorning" so tonight I couldn't avoid to say a little pray for those who lost someone and to the people who lost their lives.
Ma questo blog è anche il mio piccolo rifugio dal mondo per cui, anche se con la tristezza nel cuore, andiamo avanti.
But this blog it's also my little sweet shelter from the world so, even with my heart full of sadness, I must move on.
Oggi, dopo lunghi giorni di assenza e alla vigilia dei numerosi festeggiamenti per il Giubileo della Regina che prenderanno il via il 2 Giugno, la duchessa di Cambridge è riapparsa in tutto il suo splendore, durante l'annuale Garden Party a Buckingham Palace.

Kate ha sorpreso tutti con un gesto davvero insolito: non solo ha riciclato un abito, cosa tra l'altro già avvenuta in diverse occasioni, ma ha indossato lo stesso abito per due volte di seguito. L'avevamo già vista con questo splendido abito rosa firmato Emilia Wickstead , soltanto due settimane fa durante il Royal Lunch al castello di Windsor.
Kate surprised everyone with an unuasual choise: not only recycling a dress (as she has already done in the past) but wearing the same dress two times in a row.

Accompagnata dagli elegantissimi suoceri e ovviamente dalla regina ma non da suo marito William, impegnato con il suo servizio presso la RAF, Kate è stata come al solito al centro dell'attenzione.
In company of her elegant in-laws and of the Queen, but not of her beloved William that was on duty with the RAF, Kate has been, as usual, the centre of the scene.
