Doppio impegno oggi per la Duchessa di Cambridge - Double engagement today for the Duchess of Cambridge

A causa di un repentino cambio di programma rispetto all'agenda diffusa qualche giorno fa, oggi la Duchessa di Cambridge ha partecipato a ben 2 impegni pubblici distinti.
Due to a sudden change in plans of the Duchess agenda published a few days ago, today the Duchess of Cambridge took part in two very distinct public engagements.

In mattinata Kate era attesa per un pranzo al Royal Museums di  Greenwich per il lancio della candidatura della Gran Bretagna per l'Amercica's Cup del 2017.
In the morning the Duchess of Cambridge was at the National Maritime Museum to launch a British bid for America's Cup.

Molti volti noti e appassionati di nautica hanno accolto la duchessa raggiante e sorridente. Nonostante abbia dato prova anche nel recente Tour delle sue abilità in fatto di nautica mi chiedo come faccia la nostra Kate a trovare sempre argomenti di conversazione con chiunque, in ogni contesto. E' noto che Kate si rechi sempre preparatissima a tutti gli eventi in cui è richiesta la sua presenza e l'impegno che mette nel suo lavoro, perchè di questo si tratta, trovo sia davvero ammirevole.
Many familiar faces and boating enthusiasts have welcomed the Duchess radiant and smiling. Although she has shown in the recent tour of her abilities when it comes to boating I wonder how our Kate can always find topics of conversation with anyone, in any context. It's very well known that Kate always spend a lot of time to be prepared for all events that require her presence and also the commitment she puts into her work, because thios is a job, but I find all thihs really admirable.

Anche il look rispecchiava il tema "marino". La duchessa ha infatti scelto un abito bianco con dettagli blue navy firmato Jaeger e accessori abbinati: decollete blu McQueen e navy clutch. Anche i gioielli: la parure composta dai famosi orecchini ed anello con zaffiri, riprendeva i toni dell'outfit.
Even Kate's look reflected the"marine" theme. The Duchess has chosen a white dress with navy blue details signed Jaeger and matching accessories: McQueen decollete and navy blue clutch. Even her jewels: the parure composed by the famous earrings and ring with sapphires, took up the tones of the outfit.

La duchessa ha avuto giusto il tempo di rilassarsi un paio d'ore e di cambiare abito ed acconciatura prima di recarsi a Buckingham Palace dove, insieme ad altri membri della famiglia reale ha partecipati al Garden Party in onore dei 93 anni del Principe Filippo.
The Duchess had just a couple of hours to relax and change clothes and hairstyle before going to Buckingham Palace, where, along with other members of the Royal Family, she has participated at the Garden Party in honor of the 93th birthday of  Prince Philip.

Kate è arrivata in compagnia della principessa Anna, dell principessa Eugenie e ovviamente della regina Elisabetta e del principe Filippo.
Kate arrived in company of Princess Anne, Princess Eugenie, and of course Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

I Garden Party, istituiti nel lontano 1860 dalla regina Vittoria, sono uno degli appuntamenti più chic dell'estate londinese.

Kate ha scelto di indossare per l'occasione uno dei suoi abiti più belli: il delizioso abito in pizzo rosa cipria firmato Alexander McQueen e sfoggiato per la prima volta alla celebrazioni del Giubileo della Regina nel 2012.
Kate chose to wear for the occasion, one of her most beautiful dresses: the lovely bespoke blush pink lace dress designed by Alexander McQueen and raised for the first time at the Queen's Jubilee celebrations in 2012.

Abito e borsetta riciclati (la Russell and Bromley Park Avenue clutch) ma accessori nuovissimi: in primis il bellissimo cappellino firmato Jane Corbet creato appositamente per l'occasione e perfettamente in tinta con l'abito e un nuovo paio di LK Bennett molto simili alle gettonatissime Nude Sledge ma dalla punta più appuntita come vuole la nuova tendenza di quest'anno le Florete Patent Leather Point Toe Court Shoe da £170 grazie mille a Luisa Grace Thomass :-)
If dress and clutch were recycled (Russell and Bromley Park Avenue clutch)the accessories were  brand new:  first, the beautiful hat signed Jane Corbet and created specially for the occasion and perfectly matching with the dress and a new pair of LK Bennett, very similar to trusty nude Sledge, but with a more pointed tip as required by the new trend of the year: the  Florete Patent Leather Point Toe Court Shoe from £ 170 (many thanks to Luisa Grace Thomass :-)

Ora non ci resta che aspettare sabato per l'annuale parata di Trooping the Color dove si vocifera ci sarà anche un'apparizione del piccolo George dal balcone di Buckingham Palace. Vi aspetto.
Now we just have to wait for Saturday for the annual Trooping the Color parade where it is rumored there will also be an appearance of little George from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. I'll be waiting for you!

Royal Tour Australiano: un week-end pasquale davvero pieno per William, Kate e George - Australian Royal Tour: a very busy Easter week -end for William, Kate and George

Buonasera a tutti e innanzitutto Buona Pasqua. Così come immagino molto di voi anch'io sono stata sommersa da un turbinio di cene, pranzi e uova di cioccolato ma con un occhio ho continuato ovviamente a seguire il tour australiano della nostra Famiglia preferita. Si perchè nonostante le feste il tour è continuato a pieno ritmo e i due giorni appena trascorsi sono stati, a mio modesto avvisto i più belli di tutto il tour...almeno finora.
Good evening everyone, and first of all a Happy Easter. So as, I can imagine a lot of you, I was overwhelmed by a flurry of dinners, lunches and chocolate eggs but with an eye of course I continued to follow the Australian tour of our favorite family. Yes, because despite the festivities, the tour continued and the two past days have been, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful of the whole tour ... at least so far.

Outfit magnifici, bellissime location e dolcissime foto del piccolo George li hanno resi davvero speciali.
Ma iniziamo dal principio cioè dalla giornata di ieri.
Amazing outfits, beautiful locations and very sweet photo of little George have made this two days really special. 
But let's start from the beginning:  from yesterday morning.

Il giorno 4 del Tour Australiano è iniziato con l'arrivo della coppia nel Queensland. William e Kate hanno visitato la Royal Australian Air Force Base di Amberley. 
Day 4 of the Australian Tour  began with the arrival of the couple in Queensland. William and Kate visited the Royal Australian Air Force Base of Amberley.

Qui William ha ispezionato la guardia ed è poi salito a bordo di uno degli aerei. Kate ha voluto a tutti i costi salire a bordo e quando William le ha chiesto di sedersi dietro Kate non ha voluto sentire ragioni ed ha preso il posto di comando.
Here William made an inspection of the guard  and then climbed aboard one of the aircrafts. Kate wanted at all costs to get on board and when William asked her to sit behind Kate did not want to listen to reason, and took the front seat.

In molti, tra cui il royal correspondent Richard Palmer hanno notato come in questo tour Kate abbia preso molta più fiducia in se stessa e sia molto più indipendente da William rispetto ai primi anni di matrimonio.
Many people, including the royal correspondent Richard Palmer noted on this tour as Kate took a lot more confidence in herself and is much more independent from William since the early years of marriage.

Dopo la visita alla base la coppia è stata ricevuta dal Governatore del Queensland ed ha partecipato ad un ricevimento presso il Brisbane City Centre.
After visiting the base of the couple was received by the Governor of Queensland and attended a reception at the Brisbane City Centre.

L'abito scelto da Kate per questa visita è stato uno dei miei preferiti sfoggiati sinora: il Lasa Poppy Print Dressdi  L.K. Bennett da £245 era davvero perfetto. Kate lo ha abbinato ad una nuova clutch, la  Odeion Bag del brand locale Oroton e ad un paio di decollete McQueen in suede.
The dress Kate chose for this visit was one of my favorites so far shown off: the Lasa Poppy Print Dress L.K. Bennett  from £ 245 It was a perfect choise. Kate has combined with a new  Odeion Bag clutch, from the local Oroton brand and a pair of McQueen suede pumps .

In serata si è svolto un piacevole fuori programma, la coppia, in compagnia di alcuni membri dello staff si è recata in via del tutto ufficiosa ad assistere ad una partita di rugby. Look e atmosfera rilassata, chiacchiere, coccole e persino una pinta di birra hanno completato il quadretto di una coppia che finalmente ha potuto godere di una serata lontana dagli impegni ufficiali e dal loro piccolo George. Immagino ne avessero bisogno dopo gli innumerevoli eventi formali di questo lunghissimo Royal Tour. 
In the evening there was a nice out of the program, the couple, accompanied by some staff members, attend a totally unofficial rugby match. Easy look and relaxed atmosphere, chats, cuddle and even a pint of beer have completed the picture of a couple that has finally been able to enjoy an evening away from the official engagements and their baby George. I guess they needed it after countless official engagements of this long Royal Tour

Oggi, giornata di Pasqua, gli impegni sono ricominciati. In mattinata William e Kate hanno assistito alla messa presso la St Andrew's Cathedral del Sydney City Centre. Devo dire che l'outfit sfoggiato da Kate era a dir poco perfetto: il colore e il taglio sia dell'abito e del cappotto Alexander McQueen, sia del cappellino Jane Taylor erano davvero regali e magnifici...chapeau!
Today, the Easter day, the official engagements  started again. In the morning William and Kate attended the morning Easter Service at the St Andrew's Cathedral of Sydney's City Centre. I have to say that the outfit worn by Kate was nothing short of perfect: the color and the cut iof the Alexander McQueen gown and coat, and also the Jane Taylor's hat were truly regal and magnificent ... chapeau!

 

Dopo la messa e la firma della Bibbia che tutti i sovrani inglesi in visita sin dai tempi di Edoardo VIII nel 1920 hanno firmato, William e Kate sono partiti alla volta del Taronga Zoo, lo zoo della città di Sydney.

After the Service, and the signature of the Bible that all British Monarchs in visit in Australia since the time of Edward VIII in 1920 signed, William and Kate left fot the visit of  the Taronga Zoo, the Sydney City Zoo.

Una visita molto attesa poichè il programma prevedeva anche la presenza del piccolo George: vera star di questo Royal Tour.

Per la visita Kate ha indossato un abito già visto durante la visita alle Solomon Island del 2012: un abito di pizzo giallo crema non ancora identificato abbinato, come allora, alle zeppe Minx di Stuart Weitzman.
For the visit Kate wore a dress already seen during a visit to the Solomon Island in 2012: a yellow cream lace dress as yet unidentified and matched, as then, to the Stuart Weitzman Minx wedges.

Infine in serata i tre sono stati fotografati al rientro presso l'aeroporto di Canberra: Kate indossava un abito già visto durante le Olimpiadi del 2012. Il tubino azzurro firmato Stella McCartney abbinato a decollete blu.
Finally, in the evening the three were photographed returning from the Canberra airport: Kate wore a dress already seen during the 2012 Olympics. The blue Stella McCartney sheath dress paired with blue navy pumps
