E' stata una serata davvero spettacolare e memorabile per tutto il Regno Unito e per il mondo intero che ieri sera sembrava essersi ritrovato in una Londra scintillante e vestita a festa.
It has been spectacula and memorable night for all the Great Britain and for the whole world that yesterday nevening seemd to be concentrated  in a magic London never so sparkling.

La serata è iniziata con un ricevimento a Buckingham Palace: qui la Famiglia Reale ha ricevuto capi di stato e teste coronate da tutto il mondo.
The event began with a Royal reception at Buckingham Palace: here the Royal family welcomed chiefs of statesn and the royalty from all around the world

Poi ha avuto inizio il vero show: la cerimonia di Apertura dei Giochi Olimpici 2012. Memorabile l'ingresso in scena della Regina Elisabetta che , dimostrando uno humor davvero unico, si è prestata ed ha interpretato se stessa a fianco dello 007 Daniel Craig che si reca a Buckingham Palace per scortarla in elicottero fino allo stadio Olimpico.


Then  began the real show: the Opening ceremony of the Olimpic Games 2012. Memorable and unique  entrance of HM Queen Elizabeth that, showing a great sense of humor, played herself on the side of 007 Daniel Craig, who went to Buckingham Palace by helicopter to escort her to the Olympic Stadium.

Una vera festa e una celebrazione della storia del Regno Unito diretta magistralmente da Danny Boyle e culminata con un'accensione davvero spettacolare della Torcia Olimpica.


It has been a real celebration of British history,  masterfully  directed by Danny Boyle and culminated with a spectacular ignition of the Olympic Torch.

Per l'occasione Kate ha scelto l'alta moda e ha indossato un abito su misura dello stilista scozzese Christopher Kane  ispirato alla Resort Collection per la primavera 2013
