Buonasera a tutti.

Sono più che consapevole di non aggiornare il blog da tempo ormai immemorabile ma vista l'imminente nascita del secondogenito della nostra Duchessa preferita e del Principe William mi sembrava giusto ritrovarvi con le ultime news.

Good evening. Im shamely aware of my negligence about updating my blog but considering the importance of the imminent event, the birth of Royal Baby n.2, I thought it was time to write.

Ormai è tutto pronto e alla Lindo Wing del St.Mary Hospital la nostra Kate è attesa da un momento all'altro. (Qui potrete seguire la diretta streaming.)
Per ora però tutto tace: nessun annuncio da K.P., nessuna corsa in ospedale, solo un globale conto alla rovescia che tiene tutti i Royal Watchers col fiato sospeso.
Everything is ready for the BIG event at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London (Here you can watch the live streaming), But for now there are no official news from K.P. nor any rumors about Kate arrival to the hospital. 

Ovviamente tutti sperano nella nascita di una principessina che completerebbe così il quadro quasi perfetto di questa famiglia straordinaria che sembra piacere ed affascinare proprio tutti.
Obvously everybody is hoping for a Princess: this way this already beloved family will be even the perfect one.

Kate negli ultimi mesi di gravidanza non si è risparmiata ed ha portato avanti moltissimi impegni ufficiali. Le solite voci di corridoio parlano però di un congedo maternità sicuramente più lungo di quello avuto dopo la nascita del primogenito George.
Kate in the last months of her pregancy carried out many public engagements but rumors say that probably she will take a longer maternity leave this time.

Due figli piccoli sono un'impresa per tutte le mamme e nonostante le innumerevoli fonti di aiuto di cui la Duchessa godrà, la ritengo una scelta più che comprensibile.
Two babies are a very big commitment for every mum...even for a Duchess that can have all the help she might need so I think that Kate's choice is more than understandable.

Proprio in questi ultimi giorni la Duchessa è stata immortalata mentre trascorreva un pomeriggio all'aria aperta col suo piccolo Principe. Eccoli in questi dolcissimi scatti durante la visita al Petting Zoo, situato proprio a due passi dalla nuova tenuta dei Duchi di Cambridge Anmer Hall e alla residenza reale di Sandringham nel Norfolk. 
In the last few days Kate has been spotted while spendin a lovely afternoon with her baby Prince George: the two were having fun at the Petting Zoo: a animal farm very close to the Cambridges new house at Anmer Hall and to the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

Intanto per ingannare l'attesa ho pensato fosse carino rivedere insieme tutti look sfoggiati dalla nostra Duchessa durante questa seconda gravidanza.
Meanwhile let's beguile the time rememebring all Kate's amazing outfit of this second pregnancy.

A mio avviso gli abiti e i cappotti scelti da Kate sono stati azzeccatissimi e uno più bello dell'altro (seppur con qualche piccolo scivolone).
This time I think she made excellent choices and wore amazing dresses and coats (almost) all the time.

Per quanto riguarda l'abito "scivolone" nel caso ve lo steste chiedendo...mi riferivo a quello indossato in occasione della diffusione del video girato dalla Duchessa per una delle sue charity Place2be. Tuttavia la causa e il messaggio così  importanti hanno fatto passare (giustamente) in secondo piano anche la vestaglietta sfoggiata per l'occasione. :-)

Whan I said "Almost" I meant the dress Kate wore for the Place2be charity video.

By the way the importance of the message and the cause, were so much more important than the dress she wore that we can easily forget about it. :-)

Un ritorno in grande stile per la duchessa di Cambridge. A very stylish return for the Duchess of Cambridge

In effetti 11 settimane di assenza sono davvero tante, soprattutto in seguito ad un super annuncio come quello della sua seconda gravidanza, quindi si; la duchessa c'era proprio mancata.

In fact the 11 weeks of absence are so many, especially following a super ad as that of her second pregnancy, then; yes Duchess we missed you very much.

Le forti nausee che l'avevano costretta al ricovero durante la gravidanza di George si erano ripresentate all'inizio di questa seconda dolce attesa ma a quanto pare, e a giudicare dalle immagini delle due visite ufficiali di ieri, possiamo dire che il peggio è passato.
The strong nausea that had caused her to hospitalization during the pregnancy of George had recurred at the beginning of this second pregnancy but apparently, and judging from the images of the two official visits of yesterday, we can say that the worst is over.

Kate è tornata a lavoro e lo ha fatto in grande stile.
Kate has back to work and she did it in style.

In mattinata il duca e la duchessa di Cambridge insieme alla regina Elisabetta hanno fatto visita al Presidente di Singapore nel vicino Royal Garden Hotel di Kensington.
In the morning the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with Queen Elizabeth paid a visit to the President of Singapore in the near Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington.

Kate sapeva che avrebbe avuto tutti gli occhi del mondo puntati addosso e la scelta della sua mise, sobria ed elegante, non ha deluso le aspettative.
Kate knew she had all the world's eyes focused on her and the choice of her outfit, simple and elegant, did not disappoint.

Per questa occasione ufficiale ha scelto un coat-dress, un capo tra i suoi preferiti, una sorta di abito-cappotto piuttosto strutturato ma allo stesso tempo aderente, dai toni del grigio.
For this official occasion she chose a coat-dress,one of her favorites, a sort of dress quite structured as a coat but at the same time adhering, in shades of gray.

Il cappotto è un pezzo creato su misura per lei da una delle sue maison preferite, quella di Alexander McQueen.
Kate ha abbinato il carinissimo cappellino  di Jane Taylor  già sfoggiato durante la Messa Pasquale di Sydney dello scorso aprile.

The coat is a piece tailor-made for her by one of her favorite fashion designer, that of Alexander McQueen. 
Kate matched the coat with a cute hat by Jane Taylor  already raised during the Easter Service in Sydney last April.

Nuova invece la borsetta in tinta con le scarpe e firmata Jenny Packham.
Instead the new one was the handbag matching with the shoes and signed Jenny Packham.

Nonostante l'evidente stanchezza Kate è apparsa radiosa e sollevata: ha rivelato al Presidente di Singapore: "Che era felicissima di essere finalmente uscita di casa."
Despite the obvious fatigue Kate appeared radiant and relieved, to the President of Singapore: 
"I've been looking forward to getting out of the house, that's for sure."

Kate a differenza degli altri membri della Famiglia reale non ha partecipato al pranzo ufficiale. In serata infatti l'attendeva il secondo evento della giornata la serata si gala per il  Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards al Natural History Museum di Londra.
Tutti aspettavano un abito lungo, visto l'evento, è le aspettative non sono andate deluse.

Kate, unlike the other members of the Royal Family, did not attend the luncheon. In the evening she was waited for the second event of the day, the gala for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards at the Natural History Museum in Londra.
Everyone waited a long dress, since the event, expectations were not disappointed

La Duchessa è arrivata sfoggiando un abito celeste firmato dall'altra sua stilista preferita Jenny Packham. L'abito, a doppia lunghezza, avvolgeva le forme appena addolcite della futura mamma ma lasciava intravedere anche le sue bellissime gambe.
The Duchess arrived sporting a light blue dress signed by the other his favorite designer Jenny Packham. The dress, double-length, enveloping shapes just sweetened by the expectant mother but also allowed a glimpse of her beautiful legs.

Capelli sciolti, una nuova parure e accessori colo rosa cipria hanno completato il look.
Loose hair, a new finery and  powder pink accessories completed the look.

I più attenti avranno riconosciuti le deliziose  L.K. Bennett 'Agata' sandals che la Duchessa sfoggiò nel 2011 con un altro sublime abito in tinta della stessa stilista e che ad oggi, rimane senza dubbio il mio preferito in assoluto. Nuova e modificata apposta per lei, è invece la pochette Alexander McQueen.
The more observant will have recognized the delicious L.K. Bennett 'Agata' sandals that the Duchess showed off in 2011 with another sublime dress in the same color and from the same stylist ( a dress that still today it remains without a doubt my absolute favorite.) New and altered specially for her the clutch Alexander McQueen.

Che ne pensate dei look sfoggiati dalla Duchessa? Al di la degli outfit è stato bello rivederla in forma e raggiante più che mai.
What do you think of the look sported the Duchess? Beyond the outfits, it was nice to see her in good shape and more radiant than ever.

It's Official: Kate is expecting again! E' ufficiale: Kate è di nuovo in dolce attesa!

Le voci circolavano da settimane ma in fondo circolano dal giorno in cui si è celebrato il Royal Wedding per cui non avevo dato loro troppo peso. Poi oggi, cosi come un fulmine a ciel sereno, è arrivata la super news: con un comunicato ufficiale Clarence House ha annunciato la nuova gravidanza della Duchessa di Cambridge.

The rumors circulating for weeks but after  the day when we celebrated the Royal Wedding they did so I did not give them too much credit. Then today, as well as a bolt from the blue, came the super news: an official statement form Clarence House announced the new pregnancy of the Duchess of Cambridge.

Le parole esatte sono state queste:

"Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.

 As with her first pregnancy, the Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany the Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today"

" Le loro Altezze Reali il Duca e la Duchessa di Cambridge sono felici di annunciare che la Duchessa di Cambridge aspetta il secondo figlio. La Regina e i membri di entrambe le famiglie sono deliziati per questa magnifica notizia.  Come per la sua prima gravidanza, la Duchessa soffre di iperemesi gravidica. Sua Altezza Reale non accompagnerà il Duca di Cambridge per la visita in programma ad Oxforsd nella giornata di oggi"

Nelle ore successive e dopo lo shock iniziale  sono affiorate ulteriori informazioni: a quanto pare la coppia ha scoperto della gravidanza solo di recente e Kate non avrebbe ancora raggiunto la dodicesima settimana.

Come per la gravidanza del piccolo George, Kate e William hanno, loro malgrado dovuto annunciare la gravidanza prima dello scoccare del terzo mese, a causa delle forti nausee invalidanti che hanno colpito la Duchessa. Ovviamente non sarebbe stato possibile cancellare tutti gli impegni in programma senza svelarne la vera motivazione.

In the following hours, and after the initial shock more information emerged: apparently the couple has only recently found out about the pregnancy, and Kate has not yet reached the twelfth week. 

As for the pregnancy of little George, Kate and William have been forced to announce the pregnancy before the dawn of the third month, because of severe debilitating nausea that hit the Duchess. Obviously it would not be possible to delete all the commitments in the program without disclosing the real reason.

Al momento Kate si trova a Kensitngton Palace accudita dai medici della Famiglia Reale e circondata dall'affetto dei suoi cari.

Ai Middelton la bella notizia era stata data nel week-end mentre solo nelle ultime 24 ne erano stati informati il Principe Carlo e la stessa Regina.

Sebbene non si conosca la data presunta del parto, si parla già di fine marzo ed inizio aprile 2015.

At the moment Kate is at Kensitngton Palace cared for by doctors of the Royal Family and surrounded by the affection of her loved ones. 

To the Middeltons to the good news had been given the last weekend while only in the last 24 were informed  Prince Charles and the Queen herself. 

Although we do not know the expected date of delivery, there are already speculations about the end of March and beginning of April 2015.

Il neo Principe o la neo Principessa godranno del titolo di Altezza Reale e si è già scatenato il toto nome. Diana è ovviamente il più gettonato.

Intervistato nel pomeriggio il Principe William si è detto molto emozionato ed ha parlato delle condizioni di Kate dicendo:

The new Prince or Princess will enjoy the title of Royal Highness and bookmakers are already betting about the name. Diana is obviously the most popular.

Interviewed in the afternoon, Prince William said he was very excited and talked about the conditions of Kate saying:

"She's feeling ok thanks. It's been a tricky few days..week or so. But obviously we're immensely thrilled.  It's great news, early days. We're hoping things settle down and she feels a bit better."

"Sta meglio ora grazie. Gli ultimi giorni, l'ultima settimana è stata piuttosto difficile. Ma ovviamente siamo felicissimi. E' una notizia meravigliosa e siamo solo ai primi giorni. Speriamo che tutto si sistemi presto e che lei si senta meglio"

Anche il Principe Harry ha rilasciato qualche battuta sulla notizia e dopo aver scherzato sul fatto che non vede l'ora di veder suo fratello "tribolare" ancora un po ha parlato di sua cognata dicendo che Kate sta "piuttosto male" in questi giorni ma che sta facendo del suo meglio e che spera che la coppia possa attraversare questo periodo delicato con un po di pace.

Even Prince Harry has released a few words about the news and joked saying that he can not wait to see his brother "suffer" a little bit more. About her sister in law Kate, he said she is in "pretty poorly"  conditions these days, but that she is doing her best and that he hopes the couple can go through this difficult period with a bit of peace.

So di essere stata assente negli ultimi tempi ma questa sera non potevo non fare gli auguri alla nostra Duchessa preferita.
