L'anno scorso fu la Duchessa in solitaria a presentare il tradizionale trifoglio con cui viene omaggiato il corpo delle Irish Guards di Sua Maestà.

Kate ha presentato il tradizionale fiore anche ad un soldato molto speciale: suo marito. William è infatti colonnello di Reggimento delle Irish Guards ed aveva scelto proprio la splendida uniforme scarlatta del corpo militare per sposare la sua Kate.
Kate presented the traditional shamrock also to a  very special soldier: her husband. William is Colonel of the Irish Guards Regiment, and in fact he had chosen the splendid scarlet uniform of the officer corps to marry his Kate.

Oggi ha invece indossato l'altra alta uniforme del corpo, quella blu.

Kate ha invece scelto di riciclare il cappotto firmato Emilia Wickstead e indossato lo scorso anno per la medesima occasione.

Kate schose to recylce the green Emilia Wickstead's coat already wore on the same occasion last year.

Kate ha accessoriato l'abito con un cappellino firmato Sylvia Fletcher per Lock & Co  e già sfoggiato lo scorso anno, abito nero a collo alto e decollete nere Episode "Angel" e  guanti Cornelia James. Kate ha anche abbinato gli orecchini di smeraldo già indossato per la visita Natural History Museum.
Vista la pesante pioggia prevista sulla parata Kate ha saggiamente optato per una acconciatura.

Kate accessorized the coat with a Sylvia Fletcher Lock & Co. hat already wore last year, a turtle neck black dress and black Episode "Angel" suede pumps and Cornelia James gloves. She completed the look with the emerald earrings wore for the first time during the visit at the Natural History Museum.
To face the rainy day she opted for hair up.

Ops! Per la prima volta i tacchi alti hanno tradito la Duchessa di Cambridge che incappando in una grata si è dovuta far aiutare da William per ritrovare l'equilibrio e liberare il tacco.
Ops! For the firts time high heels almost cause a very Awkard moment to the Duchess that after the Shamrock presentation caught her high heel in a grate and had to hang on to Wills to pull it out.

Come annunciato nei giorni scorsi dalle solite voci di corridoio, William e Kate hanno partecipato alla giornata finale dell'annuale festival di Cheltenham.

As rumors announced earlier in the week, William and Kate attended the final day of the annual Cheltenham Festival.

Un evento molto popolare tra i reali e al quale la duchessa aveva già partecipato negli anni passati.

A ver popular event among royals adn already attended by the Duchess in the past years.

Kate faced the chilly Glouchstershire weather wearing a very 60's look: she wore a dusty pink Joseph coat where as you can clarly see, buttons have been moved to create more room for the growing baby bump.

Spesso su questo blog dedicato alla Duchessa ci si sofferma sui dettagli legati al suo stile e, a volte, agli aspetti più futili della sua vita. Stasera però cercherò di coinvolgervi in qualcosa di importante che sicuramente farà molto piacere alla nostra duchessa preferita.
Come sapete Kate è madrina di numerose associazioni benefiche e una di queste è la EACH East Anglia's Children's Hospices che da anni fornisce cure mediche e alloggi ai bambini malati e alle loro famiglie nell'est Anglia e nell'Essex. EACH porta aiuto e supporto sia nelle loro case, sia nelle case famiglie che accolgono questi bambini spesso costretti a curarsi lontano dalle loro città come Ipswich, Milton e Quidenham.


Often on this blog dedicated to the Duchess, we highlights the details related to her style and, sometimes, to the most easy part of her life. Tonight I will try to involved you in something important that it will surely deeply please our favorite Duchess.
 As you know Kate is patron of numerous charities and one of these is theEACH East Anglia's Children's Hospices. HEACH is a charity that support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. They provide care and support wherever the family wishes – in families’ own homes, in the community or at one of their hospices in Ipswich, Milton and Quidenham.

Proprio nella Treehouse di Ipswich inaugurata nel Marzo 2012 dalla Duchessa di Cambridge,  Kate ha tenuto il suo primo discorso sottolineando quanto questi luoghi non siano solo dei ricoveri ma delle vere e proprie Case per i loro ospiti speciali.

Come annunciato la duchessa di Cambridge si è recata oggi in visita ufficiale nella cittadina inglese di Grimsby. Il tempo inclemente e la pesante nebbia hanno causato un pesante ritardo sulla tabella di marcia della giornata che prevedeva una prima visita al National Fishing Heritage Centre,seguita da una alla stazione dei pompieri di  Humberside Fire and Rescue Service e alla Peaks Lane Fire Station. Ha concluso la giornata la sosta alla Havelock Academy.
As announced the Duchess of Cambridge today visited  the English town of Grimsby. The inclement weather and heavy fog caused a heavy delay on the roadmap of the day which included a first visit to the National Fishing Heritage Centre, followed by the fire station of Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and the Peaks Lane Fire Station. The day ended with a stop at the Havelock Academy.

Come accennato Kate ha scelto una mise già vista in ben 3 occasioni e tutte le attenzioni dei giornali di domani si concentreranno certamente su un argomento ben più importane: il sesso del futuro erede al trono britannico.
As aleready said Kate chose a three times recylced outfit for today visit and I'm pretty sure that all newspaper front page will focus about a more important issue tomorrow: the sex of the future British heir.

Personalmente, e ben prima di oggi, ho sempre sperato in una femmina e per quanto riguarda il nome..beh io suggerirei... Alice!

A solitary snow walk for the pregnant Kate, the day after the swiss wedding - Una passeggiata solitaria sulla neve per la duchessa dopo i festeggiamenti per il matrimonio in Svizzera

Ieri l'avevamo lasciata elegantissima e sorridente al matrimonio dei suoi amici e oggi la nostra duchessa si è concessa un ultima giornata di relax sulle nevi delle Alpi svizzere. Giunti a metà settimana nella cittadina di Arosa per partecipare al matrimonio dell'amico di famiglia  Mark Tomlinson con Laura Bechtolsheimer, William e Harry hanno approfittato per praticare un po di sci. Kate, al quinto mese di gravidanza, seppur esperta sciatrice si è dovuta accontentare dello slittino e di passeggiate sulla neve.

Yesterday we left her all dressed up and smiling at the wedding of her friends and today our duchess enjoyed a last relaxing day on the slopes of the Swiss Alps. Reached in mid-week  the town of Arosa to attend the wedding of their family friend Mark Tomlinson with Laura Bechtolsheimer , William and Harry took the opportunity to practice a bit of skiing. Kate, in her fifth month of pregnancy, although expert skier had to be content with sledding and winter hiking.

Oggi è stata fotografata mentre passeggiava tutta sola soletta (fatta eccezione per l'immancabile guardia del corpo) nei sentieri di montagna. William e Harry hanno preferito un ultima sciata prima del ritorno a casa.

Kate, in gran forma, indossava outfit  molto simile a quello sfoggiato due giorni fa: top Zara (grazie mille a Daily Kate Middleton per l'id), skinny jeans neri, dopo sci Mukuku e il cappotto "Odele"  Temperley delle sue passeggiate ai Kensington Gardens.

In queste foto la duchessa mostra ormai chiaramente il suo pancino e un fisico comunque sempre perfetto.
Dopo domani Kate è attesa per una visita ufficiale nella cittadina di Grimsby, pertanto è opportuno credere che i tre siano ritornati a Londra in serata.
