POST AGGIORNATO: Come annunciato ieri, nella pittoresca chiesa presbiteriana della cittadina di Arosa, romanticamente arroccata sulle Alpi Svizzere, si sono celebrate le nozze tra Mark Tomlinson e Laura Bechtolsheimer. Amici di vecchia data dei principi William e d Harry.

Il Royal trio, che ha raggiunto la Svizzera nei giorni scorsi, ha preso parte ai festeggiamenti e si è concessa una mini vacanza sulla neve a poche settimane di distanza dal soggiorno nella  caraibica isola di Mustique. I tre sono apparsi felici e rilassati e la duchessa, incinta al quinto mese di gravidanza ha catalizzato l'attenzione degli invitati.

The Royal trio, which reached Switzerland in recent days, took part in the celebrations and enjoyed a mini ski vacation just few weeks after the stay in the Caribbean island of Mustique. The three appeared happy and relaxed and the Duchess, who is five months pregnant  has captured the attention of the guests.

Una affezionata lettrice del blog ha avuto la gentilissima idea di inviarmi personalmente una foto dell' abito Max Mara indossato per la seconda volta dalla duchessa. Nei giorni scorsi si nono rincorse le voci di diversi avvistamenti riguardanti la duchessa. Lo scorso lunedì Jennifer, una gentile utente della pagina Facebook What Kate Wore, ha postato una foto della duchessa che in compagnia della sua amica di vecchia data Triny Foyle e del suo fidato cocker spaniel Lupo, passeggiava nei giardini di Kensington.

In the last few days, arose several rumors about sightings of the duchess. On Monday Jennifer, a kind member of What Kate Wore Facebook page, posted a photo of the Duchess in the company of her old friend Triny Foyle and her lovely tcocker spaniel Lupo, walking in Kensington Gardens.

Kate è una habituè del negozio molto vicino alla sua residenza londinese di Kensington Palace e dove è stata avvistata diverse volte.

Ieri infine, sono poi iniziate a circolare voci sulla possibile partecipazione della duchessa la matrimonio di un caro amico di William Mark Tomlinson con Olympian Laura Bechtolsheimer.

Si sapeva che il matrimonio si sarebbe tenuto sulle Alpi svizzere ma vista la condiziona fisica di Kate e la vicinanza con il prossimo impegno pubblico di Grimsbay del 4 marzo nessuno avrebbe scommesso sulla sua presenza, e invece...

Kate, indossava di nuovo il fidato giubbetto LK Bennett, dopo sci neri, occhiali da sole e trasportava uno slittino: probabilmente, e saggiamente, la duchessa ha evitato di sciare e si è limitata alla più sicura discesa con la slitta.

Kate wore again the trusty LK Bennett jacket, black after skiing boots, sunglasses and she was also carrying a sled, probably, and wisely, the Duchess has avoided skiing and limited herself to the safest  slide ride.

Finalmente dopo quasi due mesi lontana dagli impegni ufficiali, la duchessa di Cambridge è tornata. L'avevamo intravista qua e la fare a shopping nei pressi di Kensington Highstreet e ultimamente nelle foto scattate sulle spiagge di Mustique. Con l'impegno di oggi la duchessa torna in piena forma alla sua vita pubblica.

Finally, after almost two months away from official duties, the Duchess of Cambridge is back. We had glimpsed here and there shopping near Kensington Highstreet and lately in photos taken on the beaches of Mustique. With today engagement the Duchess is back, in a really good shape, to her public life

POST UPDATED: Non vi nascondo che appena ho saputo che c'erano delle foto che ritraevano la duchessa di Cambridge in bikini sulle spiagge di Mustique, in cui si notava per la prima volta il pancino, ho sperato venissero pubblicate. Come era prevedibile la cosa ha scatenato moltissime polemiche e la "delusione" di Buckingham Palace. Ora esporrò brevemente il mio punto di vista a riguardo.

Credo sia noto il mio interesse e soprattutto il mio affetto per questo personaggio: dedico a Kate e a questo blog moltissimo tempo e lo faccio con immenso piacere.

POST UPDATED: I will not conceal that I when I first  knew that there were photos of the Duchess of Cambridge in bikini on the beaches of Mustique, where you could see for the very first time her tummy, I hoped they were going to be published. As expected it has sparked a lot of controversy and the "disappointment" of Buckingham Palace. Now I will explain briefly my point of view about it.

I think it's known my interest and especially my affection for this young lady: I dedicate this blog to Kate and a lot of my time to her and I do it with great pleasure.

Con la gravidanza ovviamente l'interesse dei media nei suoi confronti è aumentato e l'assenza di impegni pubblici degli ultimi mesi ha solo alimentato la curiosità della stampa nei suoi confronti.

La famiglia Middleton e William sono andati in vacanza sull'Isola di Mustique per anni e spesso sono stati fotografati mentre erano in spiaggia o in barca. Nessuno ha mai sollevato obiezioni ne tutta questa crisi di coscienza nel pubblicare o condividere le foto.

With the news of her pregnancy oc course the media interest in her is increased and the absence of public engagements in recent months has only fueled the curiosity of the press against her.

The Middleton family and William went on vacation on the island of Mustique for years and have often been photographed while they were on the beach or on boat. No one has ever objected to it nor had all  this crisis of conscience to post or share photos.


Ora, sono stata contrariata dalla tremenda violazione della privacy di cui è stata vittima la duchessa lo scorso settembre, quando sono state pubblicate delle foto rubate in cui appariva in topless. La duchessa e William si trovavano in una residenza privata e sia la coppia che Buckingham Palace avevano fatto di tutto per nascondere il luogo di destinazione. Pubblicare quelle foto è stato un errore ed una scelta molto discutibile a mio avviso.

Now, I was upset by the tremendous invasion of privacy that has been suffered by the Duchess last September, when they were published stolen photos in which she appears topless. The Duchess and William were in a private residence and  the couplet and Buckingham Palace had done everything possible to hide the destination. Publish those photos was a mistake and a very questionable choice in my opinion.

In questo caso sono state pubblicate due foto in croce che ritraggono la coppia in una spiaggia pubblica, con indosso, come è ovvio, un costume da bagno. Onestamente non vedo nessuno scandalo: tutto ciò che ho visto nelle foto (perchè si ho comprato la rivista!) è una coppia innamorata e una futura mamma bellissima con un pancino appena accennato.

In this case two photos were published  depicting the couple in a public beach, wearing, of course, a swimsuit. I honestly do not see any scandal: everything I've seen in those pictures (because yes I've bought the magazine!) is a couple in love and a future mom with a beautiful tummy barely visible.

Per cui se non volete rischiare di vedere queste foto, vi consiglio di non leggere oltre questo punto. Grazie mille a tutti.

Il 30 gennaio, la duchessa è stata immortalata mentre faceva shopping in un negozio di stivali nella zona ovest di Londra  con indosso la mantella firmata Zara con cui l'avevamo vista la scorsa settimana da Pret a Manger.
On january 30th, the Duchess was immortalized while shopping at a Boot shop in West London wearing the cape Zara  that we had seen last week at Pret a Manger.
