Buongiorno a tutti! Per l'occasione dei 10 anni di matrimonio di Kate e William ho deciso di rispolverare questo vecchio post e di riproporlo. So che il blog non viene aggiornato da tempo immemore ma la mia attenzione verso la duchessa e le sue vicende non è mai venuta meno e solo la mancanza di tempo mi ha costretta ad accantonare questo progetto a cui ho dedicato tante energie.
Per l'occasione Kensington Palace ha anche pubblicato 2 nuove, bellissime foto della coppia che, 10 anni e 3 figli dopo, non smette di far sognare e di trasmettere amore a complicità. Tanti tanti auguri di buon anniversario!
So che sembra incredibile ma è già passato più di anno da quel fatidico 29 aprile 2011 e cioè dal giorno in cui la timida e deliziosa borghese Kate Middleton è divenuta la raggiante ed impeccabile Duchessa di Cambridge.

Fatto stà che quel giorno, mentre vedevo William ed Henry arrivare in divisa a Westminster un po impacciati e visibilmente emozionati, mi sono commossa. Ho trepidato nell'attesa che la sposa svelasse il suo segretissimo abito e ho azzeccato il colore del vestito della Regina.

Mi sono emozionata io stessa nel vedere l'espressione stupefatta di Kate quando, una volta affacciatasi al balcone di Buckingham Palace, ha visto milioni di persone in delirio. Un popolo intero che un giorno, non molto lontano, la chiamerà "Queen Catherine".
Chissà se è stato quello il momento in cui si è davvero resa conto di quanto la sua vita sarebbe cambiata??
Cosa sarà passato per la mente di quei due giovani e bellissimi novelli sposi?
I get touched by the astonished and spontanueous "wow" of the bride when she finally get the balcony of Buckingham Palace and saw millions of people that were there for them. An entire country that one day, will call her "Queen Catherine". Who knows what was in their mind in that incredible historic moment. Was then that she realized how much her life was going to change?

Nell'arco di questo anno Kate è passata da anonima ragazza del principe William, a icona di stile, amatissima dagli inglesi (e non solo), dalla gelida Regina Elisabetta e soprattutto dal suo bel principe.
