Come annunciato nei giorni scorsi dalle solite voci di corridoio, William e Kate hanno partecipato alla giornata finale dell'annuale festival di Cheltenham.

As rumors announced earlier in the week, William and Kate attended the final day of the annual Cheltenham Festival.

Un evento molto popolare tra i reali e al quale la duchessa aveva già partecipato negli anni passati.

Spesso su questo blog dedicato alla Duchessa ci si sofferma sui dettagli legati al suo stile e, a volte, agli aspetti più futili della sua vita. Stasera però cercherò di coinvolgervi in qualcosa di importante che sicuramente farà molto piacere alla nostra duchessa preferita.
Come sapete Kate è madrina di numerose associazioni benefiche e una di queste è la EACH East Anglia's Children's Hospices che da anni fornisce cure mediche e alloggi ai bambini malati e alle loro famiglie nell'est Anglia e nell'Essex. EACH porta aiuto e supporto sia nelle loro case, sia nelle case famiglie che accolgono questi bambini spesso costretti a curarsi lontano dalle loro città come Ipswich, Milton e Quidenham.


Often on this blog dedicated to the Duchess, we highlights the details related to her style and, sometimes, to the most easy part of her life. Tonight I will try to involved you in something important that it will surely deeply please our favorite Duchess.
 As you know Kate is patron of numerous charities and one of these is theEACH East Anglia's Children's Hospices. HEACH is a charity that support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. They provide care and support wherever the family wishes – in families’ own homes, in the community or at one of their hospices in Ipswich, Milton and Quidenham.

Proprio nella Treehouse di Ipswich inaugurata nel Marzo 2012 dalla Duchessa di Cambridge,  Kate ha tenuto il suo primo discorso sottolineando quanto questi luoghi non siano solo dei ricoveri ma delle vere e proprie Case per i loro ospiti speciali.

Come annunciato la duchessa di Cambridge si è recata oggi in visita ufficiale nella cittadina inglese di Grimsby. Il tempo inclemente e la pesante nebbia hanno causato un pesante ritardo sulla tabella di marcia della giornata che prevedeva una prima visita al National Fishing Heritage Centre,seguita da una alla stazione dei pompieri di  Humberside Fire and Rescue Service e alla Peaks Lane Fire Station. Ha concluso la giornata la sosta alla Havelock Academy.
As announced the Duchess of Cambridge today visited  the English town of Grimsby. The inclement weather and heavy fog caused a heavy delay on the roadmap of the day which included a first visit to the National Fishing Heritage Centre, followed by the fire station of Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and the Peaks Lane Fire Station. The day ended with a stop at the Havelock Academy.

Ieri l'avevamo lasciata elegantissima e sorridente al matrimonio dei suoi amici e oggi la nostra duchessa si è concessa un ultima giornata di relax sulle nevi delle Alpi svizzere. Giunti a metà settimana nella cittadina di Arosa per partecipare al matrimonio dell'amico di famiglia  Mark Tomlinson con Laura Bechtolsheimer, William e Harry hanno approfittato per praticare un po di sci. Kate, al quinto mese di gravidanza, seppur esperta sciatrice si è dovuta accontentare dello slittino e di passeggiate sulla neve.

Yesterday we left her all dressed up and smiling at the wedding of her friends and today our duchess enjoyed a last relaxing day on the slopes of the Swiss Alps. Reached in mid-week  the town of Arosa to attend the wedding of their family friend Mark Tomlinson with Laura Bechtolsheimer , William and Harry took the opportunity to practice a bit of skiing. Kate, in her fifth month of pregnancy, although expert skier had to be content with sledding and winter hiking.

Il Royal trio, che ha raggiunto la Svizzera nei giorni scorsi, ha preso parte ai festeggiamenti e si è concessa una mini vacanza sulla neve a poche settimane di distanza dal soggiorno nella  caraibica isola di Mustique. Nei giorni scorsi si nono rincorse le voci di diversi avvistamenti riguardanti la duchessa. Lo scorso lunedì Jennifer, una gentile utente della pagina Facebook What Kate Wore, ha postato una foto della duchessa che in compagnia della sua amica di vecchia data Triny Foyle e del suo fidato cocker spaniel Lupo, passeggiava nei giardini di Kensington.

Si sapeva che il matrimonio si sarebbe tenuto sulle Alpi svizzere ma vista la condiziona fisica di Kate e la vicinanza con il prossimo impegno pubblico di Grimsbay del 4 marzo nessuno avrebbe scommesso sulla sua presenza, e invece...

Kate, indossava di nuovo il fidato giubbetto LK Bennett, dopo sci neri, occhiali da sole e trasportava uno slittino: probabilmente, e saggiamente, la duchessa ha evitato di sciare e si è limitata alla più sicura discesa con la slitta.

Kate wore again the trusty LK Bennett jacket, black after skiing boots, sunglasses and she was also carrying a sled, probably, and wisely, the Duchess has avoided skiing and limited herself to the safest  slide ride.
