Le indiscrezioni si erano rincorse fino all'ultimo e alla fine la conferma è arrivata direttamente St. James Palace:
"Il duca e la duchessa di Cambridge trascorreranno il giorno di Natale con la famiglia Middleton"
The rumors were chased to the end and finally  the confirmation came directly to St. James Palace : 
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will spend Christmas Day privately with the Middleton family"

La decisione è stata presa di comune accordo con la Regina Elisabetta e il Principe Filippo e pare che William e Kate raggiungeranno comunque la Famiglia Reale nei prossimi giorni.

Kate, dopo aver cancellato parecchi impegni pubblici, è apparsa pochi giorni fa ai Bbc Sport Awards. Pur essendo bellissima come sempre, la duchessa è apparsa molto dimagrita e meno spumeggiante di come siamo abituati a vederla.

Una notizia non ancora confermata e diffusa dal National Enquire riporta anche che Kate sarebbe persino svenuta poco prima della serata di gala ma che abbia voluto comunque portare a termine l'impegno preso partecipando all'evento.
A not confirmed news of  the National Enquiers reports that "Kate collapsed on a chair while she was getting ready for the evening,” ,“She was in so much distress that she could barely stand up"  but she wanted attend anyway.

Vera o no la notizia sottolinea comunque il fatto che la duchessa ha bisogno di assoluto riposo almeno per le prossime settimane: cosa che il formale Natale a Sandringham con la Famiglia Reale al completo e il cambio di 5 abiti al giorno non  avrebbe certamente favorito.
True or not, the news emphasizes, however, that the Duchess need to rest, at least for the next few weeks, something that the formal Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal Family and the change of  5 clothes per day would not have certainly helped.

Sarà quindi un Natale informale ed in famiglia per la duchessa e per William, da sempre molto legato ai  Middleton.
I duchi trascorreranno le feste nella nuova tenuta dei Middleton nel Bucklebury: una villa dal valore di svariati milioni di euro acquistata nel 2012.


It will be a Christmas casual and family for the Duchess and William that has always been very close to the Middleton family.
The Dukes will spend the holidays in the new estate of Middleton in Bucklebury: a villa on the value of several millions  bought in 2012.

Pippa Middleton Celebrate. 

Il Natale in casa Middleton è stato anche descritto nel libro "Celebrate" di Pippa, appena uscito anche qui in Italia col titolo di "Feste in Famiglia". Un Natale molto simile a quello di milioni di altre famiglie con cibo cucinato in casa e divertimenti casalinghi. Pare infatti che Papà Michael ogni anno ami festeggiare travestendosi da qualche simpatico personaggio: chissà da cosa si vestirà quest'anno?
Christmas at home Middleton has also been described in the book "Celebrate" by Pippa, just released here in Italy under the title of "Party in the Family."
