Finalmente, dopo due giorni di attesa e milioni di sterline scommesse, i Duchi di Cambridge hanno svelato al mondo il nome, anzi i nomi della loro piccola Principessa.

La bambina avrà il nome di Charlotte Elizabeth Diana ma sarà conosciuta come Sua Altezza Reale Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

Finally after months of speculation and millions of bets, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge revealed to the world the name of her little baby Princess.

The child has been named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana  but she will known as HRH Princess Charlotte of Cambridge

I 3 nomi scelti erano in realtà in lizza e tra i più gettonati tra i bookmakers e sono, a mio avviso, perfettamente azzeccati.
The 3 names were actually the most popular amongs bookmakers and i think they are absolutely perfect.

Charlotte è un nome bellissimo, di origine francese, e secondo molti si tratta di un omaggio al futuro re e nonno Carlo.

Secondo altre fonti vicine alla coppia la scelta è stata dettata dalla semplice preferenza dei genitori che in questo modo hanno anche omaggiato zia Pippa Middleton, il cui secondo nome è appunto Charlotte: nome che la Middleton ha più volte detto di preferire al suo primo nome "Philippa".

Dopo quasi un mese di assenza dalle scene oggi il duca e la duchessa di Cambridge sono riapparsi insieme in Scozia per partecipare ad un impegno ufficiale.

La giornata prevedeva 4 impegni distinti. In mattinata i duchi di Cambridge, noti in Scozia come conte e contessa di Strathearn, sono arrivati allo Strathearn Community Campus per poi proseguire la visita al

After almost a month of absence from the scene now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have reappeared together in Scotland to attend an official engagement. 

The day consisted of 4 separate undertakings. In the morning the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, known in Scotland as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn, arrived at the Strathearn Community Campus and then continue to visit the Macrosty Park

Dopo una visita alla distilleria di whisky Genturren la giornata si è conclusa al Forteriot.

Raggianti ed affiatati ma senza il loro dolcissimo pargolo, i duchi hanno raccolto il solito affetto dei sudditi e non sembravano affatto turbati dalla bufera mediatica scatenata proprio in questi giorni dalla pubblicazione del settimanale tedesco Bild di alcune foto compromettenti della duchessa.

Come accennato sono stata via per il week end e nel frattempo il Royal Tour è andato a avanti a ritmi serratissimi! Il Giorno 6 del Royal Tour, la coppia è volata alla volta della città di Cambridge. William e Kate hanno condotto però per la prima volta due impegni separati.
As mentioned I was away for the weekend and in the meantime the Royal tour went ahead in a tight pace! Day 6 of the Royal Tour, the couple flew for the city of Cambridge. William and Kate have also led for the first time two separate commitments.

William ha visitato una fabbrica di aeromobili mentre la Duchessa, madrina dell'associazione EACH, si è recata presso il Rainbow Place Children's Hospice per poi riunirsi nel pomeriggio per una visita al Memorial War della città e per l'inaugurazione di un nuovo velodromo.

William visited an aircraft factory while the Duchess, patron of the association EACH, she went to the Rainbow Place Children's Hospice and then meet in the afternoon for a visit to the War Memorial in the city and for the inauguration of a new velodrome.

Kate per l'occasione ha indossato il cappotto "Allie" verde brillante di Erdem che lo stesso William pare aver definito "un po' troppo brillante"

Il giorno 7 del Royal Tour era uno dei più pieni in assoluto: 4 impegni diversi per la coppia e altrettanti cambi d'abito per la Duchessa.

In mattinata la coppia è arrivata a Dunedin dove la coppia ha assistito alla messa della domenica delle palme presso la St.Paul's Anglican Cathedral. 

Day 7 of the Royal Tour was one of the most packed of all: 4 different commitments for the couple and as many changes of clothes for the Duchess. 

In the morning the couple arrived in Dunedinwhere the couple attended the Palm Sunday mass at  St.Paul's Anglican Cathedral.

In queste cerimonie il cappellino è d'ordinanza e la nostra Kate è scesa dall'aereo con un bellissimo abito color acquamarina firmato Emilia Wickstead e copricapo in tinta.

I più attenti avranno riconosciuto questo abito,indossato due anni fa, ma in rosa, per uno dei Garden Party estivi di Buckingham Palace.

In these ceremonies, the hat is in order and our Kate got off the plane with a beautiful aquamarine bespoke Emilia Wickstead dress and matching hat. 

The most observant will recognize this dress, worn two years ago, but in pink, for one of the Summer Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.

Dopo il primo cambio d'abito e con look molto più casual la coppia ha assistito ad un match di 'Rippa Rugby' nel Forstyth Barr Stadium. Per incoraggiare i giovanissimi giocatori Kate ha indossato jeans skinny blu, scarpe da ginnastica e la maglietta Jonathan Saunders Deborah Egg-Knit Sweater.

After the first change of clothes and a lot more casual look with the couple attended a match 'Rippa Rugby' in Forstyth Barr Stadium. To encourage young players Kate wore skinny blue jeans, sneakers and a Jonathan Saunders Deborah Egg-Knit Sweater.

Nel pomeriggio la coppia è poi volata a Queenstown. Qui ha partecipato a due eventi molto informali e probabilmente anche piacevoli. Hanno infatti visitato un'azienda vinicola la Amisfield Winery  e degustato i vini locali, per poi imbarcarsi in un gommone per una gita tra le rapide.

Si dice anche sia quasi caduta rovinosamente a causa delle vertiginose zeppe Stuart Weitzman che aveva scelto per l'occasione e, vista l'altezza della zeppa, non faccio fatica a crederlo.

Il fatto che Kate abbia poi sorseggiato un bicchiere di vino ha fugato le voci che erano iniziate a circolare ieri mattina su una nuova presunta gravidanza. La notte scorsa è stata anche la prima lontani dal loro piccolo George: "Ci è mancato tantissimo ha detto William" mentre Kate si è lasciata andare ad alcune piccole confidenze sulla routine quotidiana del loro piccolo. 

 Cerco sempre di fare colazione con lui la mattina e poi lo rimetto un po a dormire e a sera facciamo di tutto per rientrare in tempo per il bagnetto"

Tonight there will be the last engagement of the copy in the New Zealand land: a dinner with Prime Minister John Key and his wife Bronagh.

PS: Per la cronaca sabato pomeriggio sono andata da Zara e mi sono tolta lo sfizio di indossare la giacca scelta anche dalla nostra Kate: il collo è molto particolare ma cade piuttosto bene anche su di me che sono piccolina.

PS: On a side note on Saturday afternoon I went to Zara to try the blazer wore by Kate in the past days: the neck is very particular and the blazer fits pretty well even on a tiny girl like me.
