Come al solito il mio post si è fatto attendere ma questo week end ho partecipato ad un bellissimo e romantico matrimonio nella zona del Lago di Garda e ovviamente Kate mi è stata di grande ispirazione per la scelta dell'outfit da indossare.
As usual, my post arrived very late but this weekend I attended a beautiful and romantic wedding in the area of Lake Garda and Kate obviously has been a great inspiration for choosing my outfit.

Per la prima uscita di gala post nascita del Royal baby Kate ha osato scegliendo un abito completamente ricoperto di lustrini firmato Jenny Packham che, dopo l'iniziale sodalizio con la Maison McQueen, sembra essere divenuta la stilista preferita della Duchessa di Cambridge.
For her first gala event after the birth of the Little Geroge, Kate has dared by choosing a dress completely covered in sequins designed by Jenny Packham that after the Duchess initial association with the Maison McQueen, she seems now to have become the favorite designer of the Duchess of Cambridge.

La serata era di quelle a cui i duchi di Cambridge difficilmente avrebbero rinunciato: si trattava infatti di supportare una delle charities a cui entrambi sono più affezionati. L'associazione Tusk Trust si occupa infatti di consegnare i Tusk Conservation Awards a coloro che si sono distinti nella conservazione della fauna selvatica africana.
The evening was one of those where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could hardly have given up: it was in fact to support one of the charities to which both are more loyal. The association Tusk Trust takes care of delivering the Tusk Conservation Awards  to those who have distinguished themselves in the preservation of African wildlife.

Già proprio l'Africa, un continente amatissimo da William e che il principe scelse come location, il Kenya in particolare, per chiedere la mano della sua amata Kate nel 2010.

Ma ritorniamo alla serata e all'outift della Duchessa: Kate, già in splendida forma ad appena sette settimane dal parto ha scelto un abito lungo e scintillante firmato, come abbiamo già detto, Jenny Packham. L'abito seppur bellissimo non mi ha convinta al 100%: la parte superiore in particolare sembra caderle in maniera strana, voi che ne pensate?
But back to the evening and to the outift of the Duchess: Kate, already in great shape just seven weeks after the baby birth, chose a full length  glittering dress signed, as we have already said, by  Jenny Packham. The dress was beautiful although I was not 100% convinced about it: the top part, in particular, seems to fall in a strange way, what do you think?

Questo week-end si è poi tenuto nel Norfolk il matrimonio di un caro amico di William, James Meade, con Lady Laura Marsham. Al matrimonio hanno anche partecipato il Principe Harry and Pippa Middleton. Grande assente è stata proprio Kate che, forse per non allontanarsi dal piccolo George ha preferito restare a Londra e si è dedicata al suo passatempo preferito: lo shopping.
Last weekend was then held in the Norfolk the wedding of a very close friend of William, James Meade, with Lady Laura Marsham. The wedding was also attended by Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton. Notably absent was Kate, she maybe didn't want to get away from the little George so she preferred to stay in London and spend time shopping.

Notizia dell'ultima ora è poi quella del viaggio dei Duchi di Cambridge e del piccolo George nella tenuta scozzese di Balmoral dove da settimane il Principe Filippo, convalescente dopo l'intervento esplorativo dello scorso luglio, attendeva di conoscere il suo bisnipote.
