Dal 29 Aprile 2011, giorno del loro matrimonio reale, William e Kate hanno anche acquisito, grazie a nonna Elisabetta, i titoli di duca e duchessa di Cambridge.
Since April 29, 2011, the day of their Royal Wedding, William and Kate have also acquired, thanks to grandmother Elizabeth, the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Da quel giorno da fiaba gli abitanti della famosissima città universitaria inglese attendevano una visita reale ed oggi sono stati finalmente accontentati.
From that  fairytale day inhabitants of the famous English university town has been waiting for a Royal Visit and today they were finally satisfied.

A bordo di un treno partito dalla stazione londinese di King's Cross e sotto gli occhi stupefatti dei passanti, William e Kate hanno raggiunto Cambridge in mattinata.
On board of a train left the London King's Cross station and under the amazed eyes of passers-by, William and Kate have reached Cambridge in the morning.

La giornata era intensa di appuntamenti: un primo incontro al Municipio, poi alla sede dell'Università, seguiti da una visita ad un centro di recupero per senzatetto. Kate ha poi vistato il Peterborough City Hospital.
The day was intense and full of events: an initial meeting at Guildhall, then at the University, followed by a visit to a rehabilitation center for homeless people. Kate has also endorsed the Peterborough City Hospital.

Dopo lo stupore suscitato dal nuovo look la duchessa ha confessato di non essere molto sicura riguardo al nuovo taglio di capelli..soprattutto in una giornata ventosa come questa..
After the delight of the new look the duchess confessed to not be very sure about the new haircut .. especially on a windy day like this ..
